| LES Korea presented the IAM 100 Course: Commercializing Technology through the Power of IP and Licensing.
The course was held at Hanyang University. 42 attendees participated in the course. Out of the 42, almost 25 were from related industries, universities and R&D institutes and the remaining 17 were from legal sides, and only 4 were members and 38 were non-members. Mr. Duk Yeul Baek, President of LES Korea, gave welcoming remarks and also mentioned about LES activities. He also presented Introduction of LESI and IAM 100 course. Following the introduction, The first session was presented by Mr. Jordan Kim, Chair of Education Committee / LES Korea. The second and fourth sessions were presented by Dr. Hayley French, Co-Chair of Education Committee of LESI. The third session was presented by Mr. Alan Lewis, President of LESI. The Licensing gaming class at the later part of the course were carried out with the help of co-instructors, Mr. Baek and Mr. Wonhee Cho and Ms. Kyung Ran Lee(Education Committee/LES Korea). Snacks and beverages were served for breaks and networking.
Upon the poll in the wrap-up session, around 2/3 of the attendees were willing to participate in other courses hosted by LES. We were also very pleased to see that around 15 non-member attendees showed interests in LES membership. |
